Hands down some of the best tapas I've eaten in my life, and the portions are generous! The restaurant is upstairs with a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic. Will definitely be going back!
We stayed in Shrewsbury for 3 days and earmarked this restaurant for our last night... Make sure you book as it's only small and gets very busy. The place has lots of character, situated upstairs, it has a loft space feel with lots of exposed beams. The staff are very informative and welcoming They recommend 2.5 to 3 tapas per person and each dish is approx 7 so that gives a rough idea on price There's plenty to choose from, lots of variety and a decent portion size The plates come when they're ready which is perfect and gives you the opportunity to enjoy each one We ordered the tomato salad which was huge and sooo tasty, Spanish tortilla 2 slices, the Croquettes 4 items, papas bravas and churros to finish... We cleared every plate it was so delicious and we were full and very happy. The staff are very attentive and helpful and the whole evening was very enjoyable
Had an amazing lunch at Casa Naranjo. The food was fantastic, highly recommend the anchovies and the sangria. The service was also excellent. We managed to get a walk in table at about half 12 on a Sunday lunchtime no problem.
What an absolute gem of a place! Hidden away in the back streets but absolutely worth visiting. A gorgeous, rustic Spanish feel and a true tapas experience! The food was delightful and tasty and the welcome and service first class.
Been this evening for the first time! Absolutely blown away by the food and service! Portions were more than ample and quality of food and flavours were beautiful. Highly recommend, will be returning soon!
Great vibe. Spanish music. Authentic food. Generous portions for tapas. Photos attached. Bill for 2 with drinks and dessert was about 60. Churros and pig cheek are a must try!
Our first time at Casa Nanjaro and by far the nicest food I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious prawns and calamari and the asparagus and almond was really tasty. All of it was just tastier than any other Tapas we've had. The restaurant itself was perfect, really friendly and such a comfortable setting to eat. Manager and staff really welcoming and made for a really enjoyable evening - cant wait to go back!
Amazing food, the dishes were prepared and tasted exactly as they were in Spain! The portions are generous to be careful not to order too much if you haven’t got a big appetite! 2.5 tapas per person about right. All the dishes were delicious. Owners were lovely and super friendly and very warm and welcoming. Just delighted to have dined here.
